Discover the history of this archaeological complex through our audio guides, available in Spanish and English. You will learn about the appearance and functioning of the domus (house), the salting factory and the Nymphaeum of the Fish, and what everyday life was like in this industrial suburb of Roman Malaca.

The tour

The site is located on level -1 of the Museum, which is accessed from the central courtyard. After reaching this floor, visitors can begin their tour in the interpretation space with an audiovisual introduction to the history of this place in Roman times.

The tour then continues inside the archaeological site, which is connected to the interpretation space by a corridor.

Inside the archaeological level, visitors are guided sequentially along a walkway. Several analogue information boards and audio guides (in English and Spanish) highlight the main points of interest along the route. Two 360° videos, accessed via a QR code, provide a virtual reconstruction of the Nymphaeum of the Fish and the shop-fishmonger’s.

At the end of the tour, there are several display cases containing objects that illustrate everyday life in this place.
